Integrating Symphia VMS with OnGuard provides OnGuard users with seamless access to live and playback video from Symphia, alarms, control of PTZ cameras and camera presets configured in Symphia and a direct link to video attachments associated with events and alarms. Traditionally, operators managed their access control and video systems as two independent systems. When an access control event was received, the operator had to manually search the video management system, often located on a separate workstation, for any related video. Now, with the integration of Symphia VMS and OnGuard, a single console is all that is required for the control of alarms and alerts generated by the system.

The integration of OnGuard with Symphia VMS provides OnGuard users with seamless access to the following features and information:

• Live and playback video from Symphia VMS
• Video attachments
• System status information on Symphia VMS components
• Motion Events
• Generic Symphia VMS alarms send to OnGuard
• PTZ camera features configured in Symphia VMS, such as, such as zoom in, zoom wide; open or close the iris, to increase or decrease the amount of light; focus near or far; and using Camera Presets
• Time Synchronization: The date and time is synchronized with Symphia VMS to ensure accurate event and video associations
