Genetec Security Center

The Security Center is a unified security platform that seamlessly blends Genetec’s IP security and safety systems within a single solution including Genetec’s Omnicast IP video surveillance system.

The integration supports:

• View live Security Center Omnicast video from OnGuard applications
• Playback and control Security Center Omnicast recorded video from OnGuard applications
• Get a video pop-up based on access control events/alarms
• Received Security Center Omnicast events in OnGuard (Signal Lost, Signal Recovered, Unit Lost, Unit Recovered, Archive Server Down, Archive Server Up, Directory Down, Directory Up)

Note: The Lenel Video Translator v4.0 Plugin is a file provided by Genetec for the Security Center video integration with OnGuard. The Lenel Video Translator v4.0 Plugin is considered the same file as the Accessory Add-on for Genetec Security Center which is provided by Lenel through the Lenel Partner Center. The Accessory Add-on for Genetec Security Center found on the Lenel Partner Center is the file used during certification. Not using the Accessory Add-on for Genetec Security Center will cause the integration to be considered as not supported. It is recommended to obtain the Accessory Add-on for Genetec Security Center from a VAR who can obtain the Accessory Add-on from the Lenel Partner Center.

IMPORTANT: This only provides ONE-WAY (Genetec video into OnGuard). An additional interface from Genetec to get alarms and command and control from OnGuard requires the IPC-011-xxx license for that interface below.]
