NEC Enterprise Video Analytics (NEC EVATM)

NEC Enhanced Video Analytics (EVA™) is a software platform that flexibly combines the components of video analytics including face recognition, behavior detection and attribute estimation to meet the needs and resolve the issues of customers.

Leveraging NEC’s EVATM platform, video can be processed automatically and analyzed to extract and store pertinent attributes from a video. NEC EVATM is an extensible and scalable video analytics platform capable of processing multiple video streams both live and offline.

This integration supports:

NEC EVA LENEL Connector is an application developed using OpenAccess APIs to integrate NEC EVATM with OnGuard. The application will run on NEC EVATM, ensure the interaction between the two systems and enable facial recognition-based access control.

The application essentially comprises of two features - Cardholders Synchronization and Physical Access.

Cardholders Synchronization: The purpose of this feature is to establish a synchronization of cardholder information from OnGuard to NEC EVA. The data synchronization can happen in three ways.

1. On Demand – This tool allows one-time migration to push cardholders in bulk to NEC EVA.
2. Event – This tool will ensure the Real time Data Synchronization
3. Periodic – This tool will run in periodic intervals to ensure the data synchronization between LENEL and NEC EVA.

Physical Access: This feature allows door access to the registered cardholders upon successful face recognition. The purpose of this feature is to ensure that only authorized individuals are allowed into the restricted area.
