Senstar NMS-OnGuard Gateway
Senstar’s Network Manager Service to LenelS2 OnGuard gateway allows communication to current and prior-generation Senstar sensors. Sensors supported include the OmniTrax buried cable sensor, FlexZone fence sensor, FiberPatrol fence/buried sensor, LM100 combination sensor and intelligent lighting system, UltraWave microwave, and the XField electrostatic sensor. The integration with OnGuard provides two-way communications – OnGuard not only can receive alarm and status information from Senstar sensors but can also control associated relay contacts and internal control points such as lighting-level controls within the sensors. Using the alarm information received from the Network Manager Service the full range of OnGuard system security responses can be initiated including commanding camera actions and providing visual and audio alerts.
The integration supports:
Panel support
- LAN connection. Requires supplementary configuration using “SenstarNMS Cfig.exe” program
- Communication Lost event when LAN TCP/IP connection lost to NMS-OnGuard Gateway
- Update Hardware status supported
Panel zone support
- Generic status events
- Alarm Description: “Comm Fail”, “Comm Fault”, “Diag Fail”, “Diag Fault”, “Alarm” or “Tamper” depending on NMS source assignment. “Trouble” if an alarm reporting capability is compromised due to a diagnostic alarm. Strings translatable using “SenstarNMS Cfig.exe” program
- Communications Lost event if NMS-OnGuard Gateway loses communication to source sensor
- System status tree supported
- Active Comm Fail, Diag Fail & Alarm events displayed as “alarm (unrestored)” status
- Active Comm Fault, Diag Fault, Tamper events displayed as “tamper” status
- Active Trouble events displayed as “trouble (unrestored)” status
- Bypass/Unbypass control
