Built on a proven ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 lock platform and available with full iCLASS® credential authentication, they ensure reliable communication, advanced management capabilities, and real-time alarm notification. Power over Ethernet (PoE) access control solutions are IEEE 802.3af compliant and utilize the existing Local Area Network (LAN) to deliver both power and data in a single Ethernet cable. WiFi-enabled solutions leverage an existing 802.11b/g wireless network, significantly reducing installation time and enabling access control in hard-to-wire locations.
The integration supports:
- Use the OnGuard System Administration to configure an access panel that corresponds to an ASSA Door Service Router instance.
- Use the OnGuard System Administration to configure reader that corresponds to an ASSA ABLOY wireless lock.
- Use Readers, Timezones, Access Levels, Cardholders, Card Formats, Holidays, and Badges, configuration in OnGuard to set access control for ASSA ABLOY locks that are connected to a Door
- Service Router instance.
- Use the OnGuard Alarm Monitoring application to view events generated by ASSA ABLOY locks and the DSR.
